FLRC Black Diamond run this Saturday 1/18 at 7:30am at Cass Park

The next FLRC Black Diamond group run is this Saturday, January 18. We meet in the parking lot near the Children’s Garden at 7:30am and run at 7:45am.

Everyone is welcome. This is a free activity and club membership is not required, but you will need to sign an online waiver.

Consider making your run this week count: with the wildfires going on in Australia, endurance athlete and native Australian Samantha Gash has created the Relief Run, a virtual 5k or half marathon race. 100% of the $50 registration fee will go to the Australian Red Cross: Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. Click here to learn more and enter.

With the changing of the year, EVERYONE will need to sign the NEW WAIVER, now online, before your first run this year. You only need to sign the waiver once for all 2020 group runs.

Details: The FLRC Group Runs are held on the first and third Saturdays of each month. This is an out-and-back run, so you can’t get lost! The standard run is an hour (30 minutes out, 30 minutes back), but some folks go out for more or less time, all your choice. Walk, run, both - you’ll generally find others to chat with along the way.

If you have questions, and/or if you might be interested in volunteering as a greeter/host for these runs, contact FLRC Group Run director, Heather Cobb, at cobb.heather.m@gmail.com.
