Hi Vinny – I met you at the Skunk Cabbage race you directed, we manned the aid station halfway through.
I’m registered for the FingerLakes 50s 50 miler. I did the Cayuga 50 successfully, and it was fun. My Achilles has been injured since, however, and trying to recover. I’m doubtful I will be able to complete the 50miler, and I understand I can drop down to the 50k. This happened the last time I did FingerLakes 50s in 2019 when the conditions were especially prohibitive.
This time, I may be also doubtful I can complete the 50 miler due to my Achilles, and maybe not even the 50k. Is it allowable to drop down from the 50k to the 25k if my Achilles isn’t cooperating?
