Registration open for Ithaca 5 & 10 with Fun Run, 5K, and 10K distances

Looking for a goal race in September for the entire family? Look no further than the classic Ithaca 5 & 10, which has been run for nearly 50 years on the flat streets of downtown Ithaca. The 2022 race will be on Sunday, September 11th.

The course will take you on a loop tour of the cute Fall Creek neighborhood, offer a peek at Ithaca Falls, and finish on a paved trail around the Ithaca High School and DeWitt Middle School grounds. The 5K race goes around the loop once. The 10K race, which is the 2022 RRCA New York State Championship Race, goes around the loop twice.

Refreshments will be available after the race, and there will be FLRC awards in several age groups for 5K and 10K runners, as well as RRCA medals for 10K winners. Registration is now open!

Two follow-on points for the Ithaca 5&10 this year. First, if you are new to racing, check out our First-Timers FAQ for Road Races. Second, for folks who plan to run in the PGXC cross-country series, note that this race is on the same morning as our first race.
