Chillers and FLRC Members,
The 2025 Winter Chill is in the books. 176 participants logged 370 completions over the series. Thank you to all of you who participated! We enjoyed a variety of weather throughout the four-race series, but smiles and camaraderie were a common thread.
The series’ top 3 female finishers among those who ran all four events, based on average time, were:
- Sarah Woodyear – 20:22
- Caitlin Loehr – 22:56
- Laura Morse – 25:12
The series’ top 3 male finishers among those who ran all four events, based on average time, were:
- Alexander Simpson – 16:37
- Scott Dawson – 20:12
- Chris Mellor – 22:27

This series takes a village to produce, and I’d like to thank all the volunteers who helped with bib pickup, timing, setup, takedown, photography, and post-race refreshments: Heather Cobb, Lizzy Fajardo, Adam Engst, Paula Kilts, Jesse Koennecke, Caitlin Loehr, Jamie Love, Dina Maxwell, Rachel Neugarten, Aaron Proujansky, Bethany Schiller, Bob Talda, and Lea Tang.
