Hello all, with a little over one week to go until the Monster Marathon next Sunday, August 30, we are still looking for one or two more volunteers to help with a combination of food serving and staffing the start/finish aid station later in the day. The time frame is 11:00am to 2:00pm (lunch should arrive shortly before 11). The aid station is just across the road from the lunch area, and in practice a number of us pitch in to keep both staffed and organized. It’s a fun group activity supporting intrepid runners in the beautiful Kennedy State Forest, and cheering them through the finish line.

Although the slots are for longer on Helper Helper, don’t worry, we will use whatever help you can give us. See the “food server” and “aid station - start/finish - afternoon” slots with available spaces.
In addition: Last call for monsters! If you, or a child you know, would like to haunt the woods as our trail monster, let us know at monster@fingerlakesrunners.org. We have one very fun monster, Dylan Raisch, and would love to have another.
