Myra Schulman, a board member of the Cayuga Trails Club, has written a piece on what hikers and runners should be aware of when on trails during deer hunting seasons. She outlines the different seasons, lists trails where hunting is and is not allowed, and offers her perspective on how to use the trails safely. I recommend anyone who plans to be on trails from October through January look it over. (Regular firearm deer season is from November 16 through December 8.)
