Hey FLRC folks,
Finger Lakes 50s race directors Jeney Wierman and Adam Moody (and 300 runners from around the country!) need your help. The race is Saturday, and there are a lot of aid station slots still open. It’s a lot of fun to hang out in the forest, feeding and watering extremely grateful runners—I’ve done it several times and will be refilling aid stations throughout the day—so if you can contribute a couple of hours, we’d really appreciate it. Please sign up in Helper Helper today so Jeney and Adam can stop worrying about it!

Volunteers also get a free BBQ meal (meat or veggie), this year’s snazzy race shirt, and entry into a volunteers-only raffle with awesome items from our sponsors. It’s a lovely way to spend an afternoon with a friend or make some new ones.
Speaking as club president, Skunk Cabbage and Finger Lakes 50s are the two most important races for FLRC’s bottom line—the revenue they generate is what makes it possible for us to keep our registration fees low and support a variety of worthy causes via our Philanthropy Committee. So please help us make FL50s a success!
