Be a part of FLRC’s first Parallel of Latitude 8-Hour Endurance Race—price increase 9/18!

The price for FLRC’s first-ever Parallel of Latitude 8-Hour Endurance Race will increase on September 18—registration will remain open until noon on September 27, but you can save $30 by signing up today!

This inaugural event will take place at Dryden Lake Park near Dryden, NY on Saturday, September 28, giving you from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM to complete as many miles as you can (or want) on a flat 3.45-mile out-and-back, unpaved rail trail course. There are no cutoffs and no mileage limits, which means there is no minimum pace required, allowing participants of any speed to join in the fun! After every parallel of latitude, you’ll return to the well-stocked aid station at the park, plus whatever supplies of your own you want to bring.

Each participant will receive a custom award with their completed mileage added and a 5-inch Parallel of Latitude decal. The person who completes the most miles in each gender category gets some extra bling.

Register now!

Volunteers are always needed, appreciated, and fed. There are several opportunities before or after the race, and some spots allow crew or family members to volunteer and still help their runners when they finish a loop (see the opportunity details in Helper Helper). All volunteers will receive an FLRC volunteer t-shirt, a 5-inch Parallel of Latitude decal, and lunch.
