Beautiful weather and a 5K race — the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day

Sunday’s forecast is overcast but not chilly, so it should be perfect weather for FLRC’s 2023 Women’s Distance Festival 5K, a race that celebrates women’s running. Held in memory of race cofounder Diane Sherrer, the event brings together women and girls of all ages to run, jog, or walk together on the scenic Dryden Rail Trail. Please note that registration closes Saturday, May 13, at 6pm; there is no “day-of” registration for this event. (Friends and family who aren’t running are welcome to come hang out and cheer.)

Hi Heather,

This is Anna Peterson.
When I registered for the mother’s day 5k run, I accidentally put in the wrong birth year.
The correct birth year is 1966 NOT 1986.
I did email or spoke to someone about correcting this error, but when I checked the confirmed list just now, I am still under the wrong age category.

Can you pls correct this?.
Thank you.

Anna Peterson

Sorry to you didn’t hear back, Anna. Whoever it was did fix the year but missed changing your age group category to 50-59. I’ve now done that, so everything is ready for the timers. Have a great run tomorrow!
