Hello runners!!
Are you excited to traverse the country roads of Brooktondale, NY? The chance to win a homemade apple pie? Well … on Saturday October 17th you can do BOTH!
With Fall in the air, it is time to mark your calendars for this year’s Easy As Pie 5K!
Here are the details:
What: 5 km - race / run / jog / walk - whatever your goal is!
Where: Start and finish is at the Brooktondale Community Center, located in Brooktondale, NY. Course is a loop with some flat, some down, and some up (call it “rolling”).
When: Saturday, October 17th, 9 AM.
Why: This is a low key family friendly event that is also a fundraiser for the Brooktondale Community Center. The overall winners and each age group winner will receive a pie to take home and enjoy! After you participate in the 5K, stick around and have fun at the Apple Harvest Festival, which takes place right at the community center. Enjoy apples, food and drink, crafts, activities, pies and more!
Cost: $20 for adults, $15 for 12 and under
**Please note that registration closes on race day, Saturday October 17 at 7 AM **
