Hi Everyone!
This Sunday I will be running at the Broome Oncology Sock Out Cancer 5K in Binghamton!
A race course well worth the drive and for a good cause. 
This race supports the Broome Oncology and Supporting systems, including the wonderful services of Mercy House to the local cancer patients in the Community.
This year my mother was diagnosed and received care & support from them throughout the treatment process to hospice care, and I figure spreading the word on here and participating in the race is a small something I can do to help give back.
If you are unfamiliar with Otsiningo Park, it’s a beautiful little park along side the Chenango River. A nice paved trail that runs throughout the park and is a beloved local family destination and has been for decades. I have many fond memories of a child playing in that park and exploring the banks of the Chenango River.
