Skunk Cabbage is one of FLRC’s largest and most important events, and we can only put it on with the help of numerous volunteers. If you’re in town on April 6 and haven’t already signed up to run or volunteer, we could use your assistance. Lots of opportunities are available, but we particularly need course marshals (great for cheering runners and even more fun with a friend) and help with breakdown at the end of the race.
All volunteers can get one of this year’s custom Skunkhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy shirts for free on race day at check-in (or, if necessary, in a subsequent order). We’ll also have coffee and donuts at check-in at Barton and, if it’s cold, hand warmers for those working outside. And everyone gets to enjoy a morning with friends and the sense of accomplishment from putting on a major race!
If you’re game for helping out, please sign up for your preferred position in Helper Helper soon and recruit your friends and family to join you!
Thanks for making Skunk possible—I really appreciate your help!
