Free Garmin

Want a fully functional Garmin running watch? Granted, it’s not the latest model—in fact, it’s the Forerunner 205, circa 2006—but it works perfectly; as you can see in the photo, it’s all charged up and connected to GPS. I’m offering all the bits and pieces: the watch, as well as all necessary cords and charger, a paper(!) manual, a CD-ROM (remember what that is? if not, no worries, as it works as is), an extra wristband, and even the tool for switching out bands. No chest strap, though (that was model 305). I still use its predecessor (the 201 from 2003) all the time as my bike computer, and it still holds 14 hours of GPS per charge, just like when it was new. Still, the form factor of the 205 and me never figured out how to make one another happy. Hopefully you’ll have better luck. It’s free to the first person who asks for it.

Hi. I am interested in the garmin. Thank you for the offer.

Cool. Let’s arrange for you to come by and get it sometime soon.

Oooh, this brings back fond memories of my first watch, the Forerunner 305. It’s cool to see you still have a fully functional one.
