High Noon men’s roster for PGXC #3 on 10/9/2022

Good day, @pgxc-high-noon. Our third race of the season is coming up this Sunday, October 9th, in Akron Falls, which is this side of Buffalo (about a 2.5-hour drive). It is a new course at the same park, and men and women will be running separately due to some narrow bits. Parking will be the same for runners, but the start is in a new location and we’ll talk more about that when we get to the carpooling details later in the week.

Here’s what we have so far, with only the U19 and Super Vets having full teams. We will likely have to do some combining of teams in the Open/Masters/Vets range.

Those with a ? after their names were waffling on the High Noon roster sheet—please fill that with a Y or N for this race.

U19 (3 to score, 5 to run—on the FLRC roster )

  • Banyan Love
  • Ben Lambert
  • Oliver Lambert
  • Rahmon Daily

Open (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Christopher Halsey?
  • Dylan Hess?
  • Patrick Milano

Masters (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Aaron Ristow?
  • Damian Clemons
  • Jay Hubisz?
  • Tristan Lambert

Vets (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Adam Engst (walking, if anything)
  • Bill Thilbault
  • Jean-Luc Jannink?
  • Jesse Koennecke
  • Joey Randall

Super Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • Carl Franck (70+)
  • Jamie Loehr
  • Joel Leff (70+)

OK @pgxc-high-noon, here’s what I’m thinking. Without confirmation from Jean-Luc, we can’t field a Vets team and will have to run people down. We have only Patrick Milano running for Open, and only Damian and Tristan confirmed for Masters. Since we’re likely to place higher as a combined Masters team than a combined Open team (and thus get more club cup points), I’m planning to run Vets down to Masters. If things change such on the fly such that we drop below five, we’ll run everyone down to Open.
