High Noon men’s roster for PGXC #5 (championship meet!) on 11/9/2025

Good day, @pgxc-high-noon. Our fifth and final race of the season is coming up this Sunday, November 9, at Center Park in Fairport, near Rochester. This is it—the championship race. If you’re in the running for a top 10 award individually, you must run this race, and for a team to be in the running for a team award, the team must finish the race. Logistics will come tomorrow or Saturday morning at the latest, we hope—it’s been an insane week.

Here’s what we have so far, and the numbers are razor-thin. As much as we like recruiting, you can only run this race if you have already run at least one PGXC race so far this season. Make sure to sign up in RunSignup and on the High Noon roster sheet.

As always, I have to build teams ahead of the race, so late sign-ups cause stress, and no-shows cause even more. If you need to change your plans either way, let me know directly via a post here, email to ace@tidbits.com, or text to 607-275-9557. This is important—I regularly have to shuffle teams on the last day or even at the meet.

U19 (3 to score, 5 to run—on the FLRC roster )

  • Ryan Jacobsen
  • Kai Kwee-Hallem
  • Riley White

This is a really strong team, and special thanks to all these runners and their parents for making it happen!

Open (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Andrew Flyak
  • Christopher Petroff
  • Jason Jenks - ?
  • Jon Lewis
  • Kaleb Smith
  • Lucas Betzoldt - ?
  • Nicholas McPherson
  • Patrick Milano
  • Seth Bywater
  • Ryan Spires
  • Tillman Peters

We probably don’t have the big guns we need to win the race, but this is a solid group, and if everyone comes, I’ll look into making a B team with the hope of garnering another point.

Masters (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Dave Kania
  • Jay Hubisz
  • Patrick Boyle
  • Seth Hallem
  • Steve Folsom

Five is all we need, but everyone is essential! If we could get another runner or two, I’d be more comfortable.

Vets (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Adam Engst
  • Damian Clemons
  • Jesse Koennecke
  • Scotie Jacobs
  • Scott Dawson

Again, five is the minimum, so we have a team, but more would eliminate the worry about someone not being able to make it or finish.

Super Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • Kevin Nelson - ?
  • Rick Cleary - ?

We need a minimum of one more to field a team here after bringing down the Ultra Vets. Rick, Kevin, Casey, Alan—we just need one person here to run with Charlie and Joel.

Ultra Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • Charlie Fay
  • Joel Leff

Without Carl Franck or Tom Joyce, there’s no way we can have a team, so Charlie and Joel will be running down, probably to Super Vets.

I’m coming, just not sure about a ride yet.

@pgxc-hn-suvets We could really use one Super Vet who has already raced once this year to make up a team with Charlie and Joel running down from Ultra Vets. It won’t be our most competitive team, but every point matters. Anyone available?

Sorry, Adam, I’m in Atlanta.

That might be too far to run back in time.
