Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know THIS Saturday, is the second annual Love Ithaca. Love Ithaca is a nonprofit organization my grandpa created, which joins up with other local nonprofits to serve our community! Once a year, we have a service day, coming together, loving, serving, and cleaning up Ithaca! This year we teamed up with 13 local nonprofits to help serve others in our community. For instance, one of the projects is teaming up with I Love My Park’s Day, in cleaning up the trails in Stewart Park!
Love Ithaca starts with a 8am kickoff at GIAC, handing out T-shirts and providing food for those volunteering. After some words from the mayor, we will disperse to the different projects! Feel free to ask if you have any questions. All the projects will be done by 12-1pm. If you plan to go, sign up as soon as possible, as it’s easier logistics wise:) Let’s go serve our community we so greatly cherish, and Love Ithaca! See you all there!
