FLRC women: If you are not sure whether to come to the 9/22 5K race in Buffalo’s Basset Park, please know that ONE MORE RUNNER would make a big difference (and a few more runners would be even better). Sign-up directions are here.
(For historical reasons, our co-ed U19 team and all women’s age group teams run for FLRC, while the men run for High Noon. Adam has posted the High Noon roster separately.)
Everyone: Watch your email/Forum PGXC category for lots more logistical info soon!
Here is where we are with the FLRC roster - please check that you are listed correctly. Depending on our final roster, there are a few different ways I can run people down to fill out the teams, but I’d rather pick up a few more runners.
I unfortunately can not run out first race due to an injury. I have been wearing a boot three weeks now and was hoping to be able to run but it’s not healed yet. I have an Ortho appt the 24th and am crossing my fingers to be cleared to start running again. I will be there to support our team and cheer everyone on!
Sorry to hear about your boot, Hope. Thanks for letting us know you can’t make it, and I am hoping you are cleared to get out of that boot and back to normal soon!
@rebeccamlambert has contacted me to say that she will be running on Sunday, so our Masters team has enough runners. It looks like I can run a few people down to the Open team (it’s always better if we have full teams at the Buffalo race - just having a scoring team supports our overall season performance very nicely), so it will work out! But, I am hopeful that we’ll pick up a few more runners shortly. Also, we will have a U19 team! It turns out that Gretchen and Kate have two sisters who are old enough to run - they all came to our Botanic Gardens workout last night.
