Race in our cross-country home meet at Lower Treman on November 2!

It’s time to sign up for our home cross country meet at Robert H. Treman State Park (the North Shelter, same as the club picnic) on Sunday, November 2, at 11 AM. You’re invited to help FLRC/High Noon make a strong showing as we race against teams from much larger cities across upstate New York. We need at least 50 runners of all ages (11 and older) to fill out the 11 age-group teams. We can’t have too many runners — this is a case of “the more the merrier” — and we’ll just make more teams if we get enough more people! If you can run an 8K (about 5 miles) on a mix of grass, pavement, and trail, we’d love to have you on board.

For how to register and much more, read the PGXC Cross-Country Teams page on the FLRC website. We need to create rosters in advance of the race, so we very much appreciate your early signup to help us on the administrative side.

This race is a great opportunity to hang out with fellow runners, race across varied terrain, and try out the sport of cross-country.

See you on the run,

—Tonya & Adam (FLRC/High Noon team captains)
