Spend a fun Thursday evening running FLRC’s Forge the Gorge trail race at Fillmore Glen State Park on August 8! This picturesque trail race offers two distances: the 8-mile course includes two scenic, partially overlapping loops, whereas the 3-mile course peels off the long course halfway and heads straight to the finish. The course winds along wooded trails on the north and south rims of the Fillmore Glen Gorge, dropping into the gorge and crisscrossing the creek over a series of bridges. Register today to run these gorge-ous trails, and be sure to stick around afterward for the post-race pizza party!
There will be a staggered start, with the 8-milers beginning at 6 PM and the 3-milers starting at 6:15 PM. Both distances count toward the 2024 FLRC Trail Circuit standings — check the leaderboard to see where you stand!
We encourage carpooling to help fight climate change and save on parking fees—sign up to drive or ride if you can.
Are you coming to the race to cheer for someone else? Please sign up to volunteer! Volunteering is a great way to meet people, give back to the community, and stay in touch with the club—and it’s fun! To sign up, click the Volunteer to Help button on the race page or pick a job in Helper Helper!
We look forward to seeing you at Fillmore Glen State Park on August 8!
