It’s time to get in that single-track state of mind now that we’re two weeks out from the Forest Frolic 7K and 15K Trail Races. Choose your distance — a big figure-8 or a smaller single loop — to cruise around Kennedy State Forest on July 30th. The course will be well marked and include two water stops, with post-race refreshments and professional photos of runners and volunteers frolicking in the forest. Entry is only $20, with a $5 discount for FLRC members and free entry for anyone 18 and younger. Please register by the night before the race to make things easier on our volunteers!

Is the course very technical?
It’s about as technical as the Treman FLRC Challenge course, with about the same elevation change per mile. The first and last half-mile are on a smooth-ish dirt road, so you have time to warm your legs up in the beginning and can finish fast.
