Registration open for the Ithaca 5&10 with Fun Run, 5K, and 10K distances

Looking for a goal race in September for the entire family? Look no further than the classic Ithaca 5&10, which has been run for 50 years on the flat streets of downtown Ithaca. The 2025 race will be on Sunday, September 7. The course will take you on a loop tour of the cute Fall Creek neighborhood, offer a peek at Ithaca Falls, and finish on a paved trail around the Ithaca High School and Boynton Middle School grounds. The 5K race goes around the loop once while the 10K race continues on for a second loop.

There will be FLRC awards in several age groups for 5K and 10K runners and all finishers will receive a coupon for a free ice cream cone! Purity Ice Cream will be onsite scooping their delicious treats. This family-friendly event includes a free 1-mile Fun Run for kids. The 10K has also been chosen as the RRCA New York State Championship Race. Short-sleeved tech shirts commemorating the 50th Ithaca 5&10 are available for $25.

Volunteers are welcome and appreciated. If your friends or family are coming to watch, ask them to join the fun by volunteering.
