Results and photos from PGXC #1 2025 at Bassett Park

@pgxc-flrc @pgxc-high-noon Sorry for the lag on this writeup—busy times.

Although we had a smaller-than-usual group for the first PGXC race of the year, with just 20 runners making the trip, we still managed to field two FLRC women’s teams and two High Noon men’s teams to eke out some Club Cup points. Afterwards, a bunch of us stopped at the Okay Beer Company in Honeoye Falls for a convivial lunch.

Full results are available, with three individual podium finishes and our Women’s Vets team taking home a team win. Our other teams ran well but weren’t at full strength. Hopefully, Andrew Flyak will find some time to process and upload his race photos.

With one Masters runner, four Vets, and one Super Vet, FLRC captain Tonya Engst loaded the Vets team with Julie Barclay, Sandy Gregorich, and Kim Jackson, who brought home some beer in first place. The remaining runners filled out a Masters team that placed third.

On the men’s side, some last-minute attrition limited us to just two teams: an Open team that placed sixth in a deep field, featuring several collegiate teams, and a Masters team that placed a strong second.
