Hello, @pgxc-flrc and @pgxc-high-noon!
This Sunday, 11/17, is our annual end-of-season gathering, featuring a group run, pass-a-dish lunch, and award ceremony. Please join us at the Brooktondale Community Center (Google pin) at noon. We’ll kick things off with a 40-minute group run and then enjoy lunch and awards inside the community center.
Lunch will be pass-a-dish, with suggested foods including salads, soups, bean dishes, pasta dishes, breads and spreads, and decadent desserts. Bring your own tableware if you can, but we’ll also have some disposable items available or use tableware provided by the community center.
The community center has power for crockpots and a functional kitchen. Please RSVP to let us know if you’re coming and what you’re bringing. We’ll bring plenty of beer from the FLRC Vets team wins during the series, but we could also use drinks like apple cider or flavored waters.
Parking is available in the parking lot next to the community center, and you may also park on the street shoulder. If you park in the lot, please be thoughtful about parking tightly so more cars will fit. Or carpool!
We could use a few volunteers to set up and clean up; please sign up at the bottom of the RSVP Google Doc.
Families and plus-ones are welcome, so long as they don’t mind being recruited for future racing or volunteering opportunities.
Finally, we will be placing another racing jersey order soon, so if you’d like your own FLRC or High Noon jersey, this will be your chance to buy one. We’ll have jerseys available for trying on at the party so you can confirm your size before you order.
