The Finger Lakes Runners Club puts on multiple trail races a year, and our runners are kept accounted for by Wildness Search and Rescue, who donate their time to keep them safe. Now’s the time to give back, and run a spooky, fun 5K at the same time. Join them at 10am on October 21 at Wonderland Forest in Lafayette NY for the Run of the Dead (ROTD), an exhilarating experience for zombie movie fanatics. Run for your life on eerie wooded trails with zombies lurking around every tree along with hills and mud. Enjoy food, music, vendors, and adult beverages throughout the day, culminating with a bonfire. By participating, you support the Wilderness Search and Rescue Team, who come to the aid of lost hikers and campers. Don’t miss this chance to test your survival skills, have a blast, and make a difference. Get ready to run, scream, and conquer the ROTD!
