Run, jump, and throw at Trackapalooza on July 22

Whether you’re new to track, looking for an FAT-timed PR, or want to experiment with an event you’ve never tried, Trackpalooza has something for you.

Trackapalooza is just nine days away on July 22—and registration closes on July 20! This Saturday morning track meet will have eight individual running events, two relays, two jumps, and three throws. You can compete in as many events as you like for one low registration fee. If you’re not running or want to do only an event or two, please join our highly amiable volunteer crew. To volunteer, sign up in Helper Helper.

The running races range from 100m to 5000m (racewalkers welcome in the longer distances), including the 400m hurdles, and the relays will be 4x200m and 4x400m. We’ve added a triple jump (ages 13+) alongside the long jump, and the throws include the shot put, discus, and TurboJav (soft-tipped javelin).

Registration closes on Thursday, July 20 at 6 PM to prepare the FAT (Fully Automatic Timing) system, and no changes other than scratches can be made after that time. So please sign up soon—I won’t be able to help you after that time because I’m not running the meet management and timing system. Register today!

To commemorate the first running of Trackapalooza, we’ve designed a custom racing singlet available in fitted (women’s) and straight (men’s) styles. Pre-order for $20 with pickup at the meet. Quantities are extremely limited, so order soon!
