Our next trail race, Forge the Gorge, is coming up next week at 6 PM on Thursday, August 10 at Fillmore Glen State Park. Please register soon so we can make appropriate plans for the post-race pizza party!
The “gorge-ous” course winds along wooded trails on the north and south rims of the Fillmore Glen Gorge, dropping into the gorge and crisscrossing the creek over a series of bridges. The trail race offers two distances with staggered starts. This year, the 7-mile course begins first at 6 PM and the 3.5-mile course begins at 6:05 PM, peeling off the long course halfway and heading to the finish.
The race is the seventh in the 2023 FLRC Trail Circuit. Both distances will count toward our Stonehead, Pebblehead, and Boulderhead rankings—check the updated leaderboard.
