Our next trail race, Forge the Gorge, will be held Thursday, August 8, at Fillmore Glen State Park. Please register soon so that we can plan for the post-race pizza party!
The “gorge-ous” course winds along wooded trails on the north and south rims of the Fillmore Glen Gorge, dropping into the gorge and crisscrossing the creek over a series of bridges. The trail race offers two distances: the 8-mile course includes two scenic, partially overlapping loops, whereas the 3-mile course peels off the long course halfway and heads straight to the finish.
The start times will be staggered, with the 8-milers starting at 6 PM, and the 3-milers starting at 6:15 PM.
Both distances count toward the 2024 FLRC Trail Circuit rankings.
