Spring is sprung - the FLRC Trail Circuit 2025 is here!

Greetings Stoneheads, Pebbleheads, and Boulderheads!

As the wildflowers burst into life all around our local trails, it’s time for the FLRC Trail Circuit to get started in earnest. After a fantastic Super Frosty Loomis snowshoe race back in February, our first Spring trail race is this weekend - join us on Saturday, May 17th for the Thom B. Trail Runs! With three distances to choose from (8.5, 17, and 26.2 miles), running through the beautiful woods of Hammond Hill is the perfect way to get back on the trail and make your mark on the dynamic Trail Circuit leaderboard.

Looking ahead, the 2025 Trail Circuit race dates are:

Anyone who runs at least one Trail Circuit race will appear on the leaderboard, so you can see how you fare in the speed-based Pebblehead and Stonehead rankings, and the mileage-based Boulderhead rankings. Series winners will take home some hardware at our end-of-year trail party in the Fall!

NEW FOR THIS YEAR: FLRC Trail Circuit tees!

Love the shirt idea. A solid back color would make the lettering more legible though.

Hi Damian,

A black shirt is less practical for some, particularly in the summer when it’s hot.

Here’s a photo Ian sent me when the shirts came in. Everything is legible and the text stands out well from the grey heather background.

To be fair, I said solid “back” color, not solid “black”. I was referiing more to the marbled look. If it was uniformly light gray I think it would contrast better. Regardless, I still like it.

Got it and apologies for once again trying read and respond to something without my reading glasses. :upside_down_face:

I know what you mean about heathered vs solid backgrounds. Sorry for the mixup
