The 2023 Tortoise & Hare Trail Run is next Saturday! Sign up now or volunteer to help

You still have a few days to sign up for the Tortoise & Hare Trail Run on Saturday, July 29!

Please register soon so our Food Team can get an appropriate amount of food. Registering by at least the evening of Friday, July 28 makes bib assignment easier.

The course runs 6.7 miles up, around, and down the beautiful Buttermilk Falls State Park. And don’t miss the free 1-mile fun run for kids of all ages, which returns this year to send kids around the Larch Meadow Trail loop at the start. It’s non-competitive and won’t be timed.

We encourage carpooling when possible! Remember that there’s a $9 entrance fee for parking at the park, though there’s additional parking on Route 13 east of the park.

For those not running, please consider volunteering—we need some more course marshals. It’s a great way to spend some time outdoors with friends while cheering and supporting all the runners.

The race is the sixth in the 2023 FLRC Trail Circuit.
