You still have a few days to sign up for the Tortoise & Hare Trail Race on Sunday, June 28!
Please register soon so our Food Team can get an appropriate amount of food. Registering by at least the evening of Friday, June 26 makes bib assignment easier.
The course runs approximately 6.5 miles up, around, and down the beautiful Buttermilk Falls State Park. And don’t miss the free 1-mile fun run for kids of all ages, which returns this year to send kids around the Larch Meadow Trail loop at the start. It’s non-competitive and won’t be timed.
We encourage carpooling when possible! Remember that there’s a $10 entrance fee for parking at the park, though there’s additional parking on Route 13 east of the park.
For those not running, please consider volunteering—there are still some important open slots. It’s a great way to spend some time outdoors with friends while cheering and supporting all the runners.
Free post-race massage: Weather permitting, after you cross the finish line, treat yourself to something your legs will thank you for! We’re thrilled to welcome Living Essence Massage Institute (LEMI) as a post-race sponsor, offering free massages to runners at the event. As part of their commitment to the community, LEMI offers a public clinic where students provide massage — and race day is a perfect opportunity to experience their work firsthand. So run hard, then let LEMI take care of the rest!
