A group of Wells College alumnae has organized a race to honor Coach Jack Daniels and his wife Nancy. 100% of the proceeds for the race will go to Wells College, which is facing financial difficulties at this time. $25 to sign up. June 15-20.
For those who don’t know, Jack Daniels is one of the great running coaches of all time and author of Daniels’ Running Formula, one of the most influential training books in running. I use his system in our FLRC workouts. He’s at Wells College now, and if you ever get a chance to hear him speak locally, take it.
