We have made the difficult decision to postpone Trackapalooza to August 1. The AQI forecast changed overnight, pushing the unhealthy air prediction into Saturday, and the weather forecast had an increased chance of heavier rain in the morning. Given the likelihood of problematic environmental conditions, we decided the better part of valor was to postpone two weeks to August 1.
All entries have been refunded, and registration will reopen on Sunday, July 19. Hope to see you then!
We apologize for the inconvenience, but the health of our runners—particularly the young children who attend track meets—is paramount. Although the predicted rain wouldn’t have been enough to cancel on its own, it would have dampened (heh) the enjoyment of the event.
