Heads up that the Buttermilk Falls Spur Trail from junction with Thayer Blue trail (mile 0.3) to West King Rd (mile 0.8) (the trail south of South Hill Cider) is closed for hunting from 10/01/26 to 01/01/27. FLT interactive map suggests the follow bypass: Left on the blue spur at (mile 0.1) to a right (east) on Sandbank Rd (0.5 miles) → right (south) on West King Rd (0.2 miles) to rejoin the orange trail.
The red dotted line in the screenshot below is the suggested bypass, the neon blue highlight is the portion of trail that is closed.
