Good evening!! We are gearing up for the 2023 USATF Niagara Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships at Bassett Park, in Amherst, NY. They will be held on Sunday, November 12th with check-in at 9:30 and the first race at 11:00.
Here are the age groups with the distances:
8 and U - 2k
9-10 - 3k
11-12 - 3k
13-14 - 4k
15-16, 17-18 - 5k
The course will be wide grassy trails with a couple of short wooded sections. There is a 2k loop and a 3k loop.
Registration is $10.00 and is open on Athletic.Net. Athletes must be a USATF member with verified birth certificate to participate. Registration will close on November 10th at 11:59 PM. Please don’t wait until the last minute as it can take some time for birth certificate verification.

The top 15 and top 2 teams in each gender and each age group will advance to the USATF Junior Olympic National Cross Country Championship on December 9th in Louisville, KY.
