Winter Running Question

Not sure if this is a unique problem or not but here goes… I broke my collarbone over a year ago and now have a metal implant holding the bits together. I’m fully recovered and have no issues except when I run in the cold. Since the metal is just under the skin it really start to ache particularly if it’s windy. If I wear extra layers the rest of me gets too hot. Any suggestions for how to just keep my collarbone wam? Anyone want to knit me a collarbone warmer? Anyone else had similar issues?

Tape on a heat pack typically used for hands/feet while skiing?

@patrickmilano’s wife Lauren got some sort of battery-powered warming thing for their infant Theo; I wonder if something like that might work well because you could turn it on and off as needed.
