Chillers and FLRC Members,
The 2026 Winter Chill is in the books. 151 participants logged 323 completions over the series. Thank you to all of you who participated! We enjoyed a variety of weather throughout the four-race series, but smiles and camaraderie were a common thread.
The series’ top 3 female finishers among those who ran all four events, based on average time, were:
- Caitlin Loehr – 22:36
- Laura Morse – 23:56
- Mia Slotnick – 27:13
The series’ top 3 male finishers among those who ran all four events, based on average time, were:
- Alexander Simpson – 17:08
- Scott Dawson – 20:27
- Andrew Flyak – 21:38

This series takes a village to produce, and I’d like to thank all the volunteers who helped with bib pickup, timing, setup, takedown, photography, and post-race refreshments: Lucia Chen, Heather Cobb, Amy & Scott Dawson, Adam Engst, Peter Gillen, Diana Hackett, Dave Kania, Jesse Koennecke, Caitlin Loehr, Leo Nakaranuruck, Dirk Swart, and Bob Talda. And finally, a very special thank you to the Hangar Theatre for allowing us to host our wrap party after the fourth race.
