@Challengers Well, this is no good. Apparently, the NYS DOT inspection of the Fall Creek bridge found it unsafe for pedestrians. So please don’t run the Fall Creek Trails course that uses it (and if you do, and are caught brazenly running in the roadway, we’re not bailing you out.

Tompkins SIREN: Due to safety concern identified during a recent NYSDOT inspection, the pedestrian walkway on the Forest Home Lower Bridge is closed effective immediately pending further evaluation and repair.
Pedestrians are prohibited from using the vehicle travel lane to cross the bridge and must use an alternate route.
