Fall Creek Trails Star Posts

Story

I did a one mile warm up and cool down to and from the start of this course. Next time I will start at the corner of Fairway Drive and Warren Rd just 0.2 miles from my front door. This is a lovely course through such varied scenery which includes the Arboretum, a suspension bridge across the creek, a steep climb out of the gorge, horse fields (too bad the beautiful old barn is no longer there), by a pond (no spring peepers this morning), around the lake with incredible waterfall, and through the wildflower garden. It is not without its treacheries, however. The mud, tick infested long grass, and many many down hill stairs paled in comparison to the fierce Mama and Papa geese around Beebe Lake. I lost several minutes off my time here after getting hissed at and and then charged I realized I was going to have to bush wack my way around the old shed and canoes. Phew! I made it safely back to the trail.
