Final 2026 FLRC Challenge Group Run - Dryden Lake Lollipop, Sunday, 11/8 @ 8:30 AM

The final FLRC Challenge group run is this Sunday, 11/8, and we’ll tackle the longest Classic Challenge course: the 13.1-mile Dryden Lake Lollipop. If that’s the course you need to complete your Challenge, this is your last best chance to have company running it!

We will meet at the Freeville trailhead of the Dryden Rail Trail at 8:30 AM and run at 8:45 AM. Parking is available at the Freeville Clerks Office, at 5 Factory Street, Freeville NY 13068 (Google pin). Saturday’s rain should have passed by then. There is no bathroom at the start, but there’s one at Dryden Lake Park near the 5-mile mark.

Even if you are not participating in the Challenge, or don’t want to run 13.1 miles, you can still run out and back at whatever distance works for you. Everyone is welcome!

We’ll have some post-run snacks, so please RSVP below so we can plan food quantities. There will be people at various paces, and if you need a ride or have questions, just reply to this post.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, ability, pace, or hair color. This is a free activity, and while FLRC membership and FLRC Challenge participation are encouraged, neither is required. If you’re not running the Challenge, please sign the FLRC Training Programs waiver. You only need to sign once for all 2026 workouts and group runs, so if you’ve already done so, you’re all set. Subscribe to FLRC’s Races and Group Runs calendars so race dates, group runs, and other club events flow into your calendar.

Would someone be able to give me a ride? Ithaca falls
