You have another chance to get chilly at our Super Frosty Loomis snowshoe race next weekend, but if you want to stay warm, sign up for the February Flash Dash in two weeks. Join us at 9 AM on Sunday, February 15, at Cornell’s warm, dry Barton Hall. All ages (seriously!) and abilities (really!) are welcome, and when you’re not running, you can enjoy watching some of the area’s best runners compete.
Check the meet page for all the details, but here are the key bits:
- Events: The February Flash Dash will feature the 1 mile, 60m, 800m, 200m, and 4x200m relay. Field events will include the long jump and high jump. Compete in as many events as you like for the same fee.
- New to track? If you’ve never run a track meet before or never run one of ours, check out our First-Timer’s FAQ for Track Meets.
- Registration: Preregistration is required! Please follow the instructions on how to enter seed times correctly. Reply here or email me at ace@tidbits.com if you have questions. Also contact me if you need a new club or school team added to the menu.
See you at Barton Hall in a few weeks! If you want to check out the track beforehand, come to a MITHACAL MILERS Tuesday night workout for club members or one of Ian’s Monday/Wednesday track workouts, also at Barton. Watch the Group Runs & Workouts category on the forum for details.
