Because the leaderboard has taken on all the time entry, effort storage, and account management, there’s a lot more code than in the past, and many more places the code can stumble or hiccup. Plus, there are 44 course pages to update and manage, and I’m sure that we’ll discover things that require changes.
@steve-desmond and I will be keeping this initial topic post up to date with known issues that are being worked on. Please feel free to post below with your problems; we may have questions or ask for screenshots so we can confirm what’s happening and identify what needs to be done to fix it.
Leaderboard Issues
the Awards page is still being worked on – stay tuned
Website Issues
Many course pages need updating
Google Map showing course locations needs updating
Here are a few of the things I’ve noticed with the leaderboard for @stevedesmond to look into:
Changing the time of day (or date, I imagine) produced an “Enter a valid value” error no matter how I tweaked it. Probably some interaction with time zones.
We should probably alphabetize all the Personal Challenge-only courses in the Courses menu. Keeping the Classic Challenge courses at the top, sorted by distance, probably still makes sense.
Similarly, we’ll have to think about separating out the Classic Challenge courses on the Statistics page and perhaps alphabetizing the Personal Challenge-only courses. It’s a bit much right now.
The Your Challenge banner on the homepage that tells me I have completed 1 of 10 courses is great, and the More Info button that takes me to a page showing which courses is great, but the second page doesn’t need the More Info button on it as well.
The Awards page throws an error. It’s on the list to fix but largely irrelevant until there’s a lot more data (and much closer to the finish date).
Editing the start time has been fixed as of 2pm – reminder to everyone that your start time needs to be within 5 minutes of someone else in order to get a group run community star!
I agree, sorting these “other” courses by name makes it easier to find them
The statistics page now uses the same sorting as above, too!
Good catch, the “More Info” button now only shows on the main leaderboard front page
A “known issue” has been added above regarding the Awards page
I have now updated the Web pages for all ten of the Classic Challenge courses so they use the standard format we’ve had for the past few years. They all have RunGo directions and GPX files as well, except for East Hill Rec Way, which has no turns.
Where an old page had textual turn-by-turn directions, I left them in place, but you can get the same thing from within the RunGo directions too.
If you see any issues with the pages for those ten courses, let me know. The rest will be coming.
Another thing: under most miles, the miles are right but the courses ran is wrong for me and Adam. I think the offender is East Hill Rec Way, since that’s the only course I’ve ran but did it twice. Same with Adam, he did Easy Hill twice and Beebe once.
I have been unable to post to the Beebe Lake 2026 forum. I’m using Safari on both macOS 26 and iOS 18. Mashing the post button does nothing 99% of the time every once while I get a weird pop-up about a discourse error that I haven’t been able to capture.
Oddly enough, I can post to the Beebe Lake 2022 forum which is why there’s a recent (like today) post from me there
Sorry—there was some weird escaping of quotes in the code in that one. Fixed now, and I’ll look through the others to see if they suffer from the same problem.
I’ve moved the post from the old topic to the new one.
@Alex_Guyon@GeoffVF I believe this is due to an issue we’re having with WebScorer pulling in birthdays, which are required to calculate age grades. I’ve added those manually for each of you now (as well as everyone else who didn’t have them) so you should be able to enter results.
Debugging through this now, it looks like the “Private” flag was on, so the importer didn’t import any past results. I’ll need to think through some of the consequences of changing this to make sure things that are intended to not be publicly visible remain that way.
Hi, I’ve been getting a " The result entered is invalid, please double-check your entry! " error when entering data, I noticed that when I click on my name in the participant list I also get an error " Sorry, an unexpected error occurred". I can’t imagine how hard it is to run this event, but really appreciate it!

Chronic app window closers, rejoice: all future Leaderboard logins will perist across browser sessions – as long as you use the Leaderboard at least once a month, you’ll stay logged in!
Hi Karl, WebScorer isn’t pulling in all information for new athletes yet, so I’m needing to do that manually until it’s fixed – you should be all set now!
