FLRC Couch to 5K starts in one week on Monday, April 13!

FLRC’s Couch to 5K program starts next Monday, April 13! Please see this post for some answers to FAQs that you might have about taking part. You can post any other questions for us here on the forum or send me a direct message (click on my name and the blue Message button), and we’ll get back to you.

No experience is necessary to take part, and there’s no participation fee — if you are coming along to the Monday group workouts, you will need to register via Webscorer so that you can sign our group runs waiver. If you are just following along with the plan but exercising individually, you don’t need to register via Webscorer..

Our first group workout of the 2026 Couch to 5K will be Monday, April 13, at 6.00pm. We will meet at the Large Pavilion in Stewart Park - the weather is looking like it might be warm but with some rain showers, so we will be able to shelter whilst we do our introductions and warm-ups. The session should take about 45 minutes total.
