High Noon men’s roster for PGXC #3 on 10/19/2025

Good day, @pgxc-high-noon. Our third race of the season is coming up this Sunday, October 19, at West Genesee High School in Camillus, which is near Syracuse and about an hour away. Logistics are explained here.

Here’s what we have so far. We may need to shuffle people around to make full teams, so sign up soon, and the more people you can recruit, the better! Make sure to sign up in RunSignup and on the High Noon roster sheet.

Again, I have to build teams ahead of the race, so late sign-ups cause stress, and no-shows cause even more. If you need to change your plans either way, let me know directly via a post here, email to ace@tidbits.com, or text to 607-275-9557. This is important—I regularly have to shuffle teams on the last day or even at the meet.

U19 (3 to score, 5 to run—on the FLRC roster )

It looks like we have a team here, but we need confirmation on the Google Sheet roster. @AnandasMom, will Ananda be able to run, too?

Open (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Seth Bywater - still need to sign up in RunSignup

We have a team here, but Tillman has been a bit hurt, so he’s a maybe. It would be great if we could add Peter Gracey, Alex Evans, and Alexander Simpson to the mix.

Masters (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Columbia Warren - ? still need to sign up in RunSignup
  • Dave Kania
  • Geoff Van Fleet
  • Jay Hubisz
  • Patrick Boyle

Again, we should have a solid team here.

Vets (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Adam Engst - if useful; still need to sign up in RunSignup
  • Jesse Koennecke - still need to sign up in RunSignup
  • Joey Randall - still need to sign up in RunSignup
  • Scotie Jacobs - ? still need to sign up in RunSignup
  • Scott Dawson

With Joey Randall back in the mix, we have the possibility for a team if Scotie Jacobs and Jesse Koennecke can make it; I’ll provide a warm body. If we can’t field a full team here, we’ll see about running down to Masters B again.

Super Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • John Hummel
  • Kevin Nelson - ?
  • Rick Cleary - ?

If Kevin and Rick can make it, we’d have a full team. If not, we’ll have to run our Ultra Vets down.

Ultra Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • Charlie Fay
  • Carl Franck

Unless another Ultra Vet steps up soon, I’ll run Carl and Charlie down to Super Vets. Pete Dady? Rick Mazzeo? Isn’t this closer to your area?

I’m trying to get Jim Carman to join the UltraVets for this one and Carl is working on Joel Leff. Amazingly, we might actually have a team.

Alex S and Jason J are in, I’ve also waiting to hear back on a couple of others too! Alex E and Peter aren’t in Ithaca this weekend, but should be in for the next race!

Thanks, Jon, but ping AlexS to sign up in RunSignup, since he’s not in there yet (and see if you can get him on the forum so he sees the coordination details).

@pgxc-high-noon Here’s where we are right now—full teams in all age groups! Thanks to Jim Carman and Joel Leff joining at the Ultra Vet level, I can run Carl Franck down to Vets to complete that team. If another Vet signs up last-minute, I’ll swap him back.

@adamengst , Tom Hartshorne also insists he’s running MU-HN. I just pinged him about registering in RunSignup in case you’re not seeing him there already.

@pgxc-high-noon We have one Masters runner who may be too sick to run tomorrow, so if you know anyone who’s 40+ who’s up for racing, that will definitely keep the Masters team complete. Worst case, we run an Open B team with our extras and forfeit either a Masters or Vets team.

Ben Dickensheets @bdickensheets is also coming and should be signed up. So I think I have a full Senior Men’s Team in my car haha

Cool! We’ll have to see if we can field an A and B on the day. FYI, not seeing him in RunSignup yet.
