High Noon men's roster for PGXC #1 on 9/21/2025

Good day, @pgxc-high-noon. Our first race of the season is coming up this Sunday, September 21, in Bassett Park in Williamsville, which is this side of Buffalo. Logistics are explained here.

Here’s what we have so far. We will need to combine some teams, so sign up soon, and the more people you can recruit, the better! Make sure to sign up in RunSignup and on the High Noon roster sheet.

Just to clarify, I must build teams ahead of the race, so late signups cause me stress, and no-shows cause even more. If you need to change your plans either way, let me know directly via a post here, email to ace@tidbits.com, or text to 607-275-9557.

U19 (3 to score, 5 to run—on the FLRC roster )

Right now, no one is signed up for this team. With luck, @Ryan_Jacobsen and @AnandasMom will be able to recruit more kids for the next four.

Open (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Andrew Flyak
  • Christopher Petroff
  • Jason Jenks
  • Jon Lewis
  • Patrick Milano

We have five, but more people to fill out the scoring team would be welcome!

Masters (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Dave Kania
  • Geoff Van Fleet
  • Jay Hubisz
  • Peter Frazier

We have four here, and we can fill out the fifth by running someone down if necessary.

Vets (5 to score, 9 can run)

  • Adam Engst (only if necessary to fill out a team)
  • Damian Clemons (?)
  • Scott Dawson

Looking pretty weak in the Vets category for this race, so unless people sign up soon, I will probably run everyone down to Masters.

Super Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

No one is signed up for this team, but we can run Carl down, so we only need two others: Casey? Sean? Brian? Alan or Allan?

Ultra Vets (3 to score, 5 can run)

  • Carl Franck

Unless other Ultra Vets step up soon, Carl can run down to fill out another age group.

Adam
I am out for this one. This is Berlin weekend.
Hoping to make the next one if I survive the marathon.

Joey R

No worries, Joey—first you take Berlin!

@BigRedRick has signed up for Men’s Super Vets, so if we can get one more Super Vet to run with him and @cfranck, we’ll have a team. (And he’s trying to recruit some open runners from Hamilton for us too.)

I think I would rather be enjoying myself in Berlin other things being equal

I’m out for Buffalo, but it doesn’t look like the Vet team had much chance of filling a team anyhow.

Drat—so close! My master plan was you and Scott for actual Vets runners, me as a warm body, and then running Rick and Carl down from Super/Ultra Vets.

If we can get one more runner from @pgxc-hn-suvets or @pgxc-hn-vets, we can make a team in one of those categories.
