M/W Winter Barton Sessions are Wrapped

Thanks a ton to all who joined us this winter for M/W nights at Barton. It was again so worth it to see a number of programs and individuals from outside of formal programs come together as a running community. Truly representative of a the larger incredible community which running represents. A huge thanks for Cornell for allowing us to access Barton at all, and the Runner’s Club for having so many great opportunities in their mix.

There were some, like myself, who really value the opportunity to get workouts in, and which can be tough to pull off solo, or in dark wintery conditions. Even more breneficial to formal programs who may otherwise be trying to get quality in in hallways. To so many of you who sent PR’s, state qualifiers, or just established a solid base going into Spring, nice work!

As the weather turns, spring programs will shift outside, and the vast majority of our crew were HS athletes. My own schedule is really jammed so I personally need the time as well. For those looking to continue getting a quality workout in and have liked Barton, Adam will continue to hst Tuesday night Barton sessions…same place and time (7:15-9, meeting downstairs). I believe Tuesdays typically run through to April.
