Hello, as the emerging co-race directors for the ‘Two Hollows’ incarnation of the Monster Marathon, Steve Jesch and I will be running a shortened version of the half marathon this Monday evening 7/22 (we can choose either 6 or 9 miles; 9 miles shows you the entire course terrain because of a loop-back route). Note that there is a more official FLRC monster practice course run coming up on the weekend of August 16-17, but since Steve and I were going to run the course anyway, we thought we would open it to anyone to give you more options. Pair it with the Forest Frolic run-through the day before for a real Kennedy Forest one-two trails training punch!
Tentatively we will meet 6:30 PM near the start/finish area at the intersection of Adams Rd and Owego Hill Rd in town of Harford (Lat/ long 42.455206, -76.21707). I don’t think google maps will do this but don’t approach this from the North on Owego Hill Rd, it’s not passable, coming up Adams Rd is the workable approach.
