The snow and cold weather have created fantastic conditions for snowshoeing. We are planning to open registration for Super Frosty Loomis soon if not already by the time you read this. In preparation, we would like to host a group run through at Hammond hill this Saturday Jan 25th. Meet at 8:40 and begin running at 9:00. I’ll plan to lead a group around the 5k course and depending on participation can add distance or suggest shortcuts. This will not be an out and back run, so please review the 5k course map before arrival. RunGo | Super Frosty Loomis 5k Snowshoe Race | Freeville We do not have rental snowshoes for the group run. I know there are people who have extra pairs so if you are interested in coming but do not own your own snowshoes post below and see if we can match you with someone who can loan a pair.
The run will start in the public parking lot. The lot’s address is (roughly) 100 Hammond Hill Road, Freeville, NY 13068. Do not follow GPS directions via Harford Road—it is not passable. Instead, come via Irish Settlement Road.
