There was again over 20 people for last Thursday’s Young at Heart Group Run from Bike Bar - thank you for all who attended! A snapshot of some who made it to Stewart Park is shown on the image below.
This post is to confirm that from now until at least the end of summer, this will be a weekly run!
To confirm the details for this week, we’ll be meeting at Bike Bar on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 5:30pm, and setting off at 5:45pm, and running in differing pace groups for around 30ish minutes, before returning for a chance to chat in Bike Bar afterwards - you can decide with the people in your pace group where you want to go, and how far too. Suggestions include -
- Ithaca Falls - around 2 miles total
- Stewart Park - around 4 miles total
- Stewart Park (plus golf course) - around 5 miles total
- South Hill Rec Way - around 7 miles total
We are working with Bike Bar to hopefully provide dedicated storage space for during the run (but we will always have cars available nearby too) - and potentially a monthly pizza party too (watch this space!)

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, ability, pace, or anything else. This is a free activity and club membership is not required, but please sign the FLRC 2025 Training Programs before your first run this year. You only need to sign the waiver once for all 2025 group runs, so if you’ve already signed it, you’re all set—check here.
