Morning all!
Our next group run is scheduled for Monday, May 25, which we only belatedly realized is Memorial Day! Heather and I will still be meeting at 6pm at the Large Pavilion in Stewart Park, so do please join us if you’d like, but no worries at all if you are busy with fun Memorial Day celebrations elsewhere.
Either way, the workouts for next week are as follows: 2 workouts of 15 min run / 5 min walk / 15 min run, and then the third workout is 25 min run / 5 min walk. Don’t be intimidated by these longer run intervals - you have been building your endurance steadily and you can do them! The whole plan can be viewed here.
And as we get closer to the end of the program, here’s a link to all the information about FLRC’s Twilight 5K on June 9, in case you’d like to use that as your 5K event.
Please remember that if you come along to a Monday group workout, you need to register via Webscorer so that you can sign our group runs waiver.
