Final Sunday Skunkday group run on March 30 at 8:30 AM at Barton Hall

It’s our final Sunday Skunkday run for 2025! (In two weeks on April 6, we’ll all be gathered once again at Barton for Skunk Cabbage race.) Meet at Barton Hall (facing Teagle Hall, where Skunk starts) at 8:30 AM. Barton and its bathrooms should be available.

Everyone is welcome, even if you’re not an FLRC member or able to run Skunk. Regardless, you must sign the FLRC Training Programs waiver once for 2025.

At 8:45 AM, we’ll do quick introductions, split into rough pace/distance groups, and take a picture to prove our extreme hardiness. You can run out and back on the Skunk course or pick from one of these alternatives:

Please register in the pace and distance polls below so others can see they’ll have company. Click the icons under each answer to see who has voted.

There should be plenty of free (on Sunday) parking in the Crescent Lot east of Schoellkopf Stadium or Cornell’s parking garage.

Any questions, just ask. See you Sunday!

I’m planning a 10-miler that goes out (mostly) on the Skunk course, but turns right on Genung Road and goes up to Snyder Hill. Then down Snyder Hill to Pine Tree > Honness > Recway (or whatever it’s called there) > Maple Ave > back to Barton Hall. Company welcome.

Well, that’s more like it! This was our first Sunday with decent weather, and the turnout more than doubled our average with 37 people showing up.

Our group run next week will be the Skunk Cabbage Classic 10K and Half Marathon (and yes, you can still sign up), and after that, we’ll have a member-hosted group run before kicking off the 2025 FLRC Challenge.
